My favourite items in my room by far are my Piglet in Bed linen bed sheets.
One of my passions in life is home décor. The only problem when you’re living in London is that freshening up a room isn’t always an easy thing.
Most landlords refuse any permanent change, so it’s pretty much impossible to arrange the room like I’d want it to be. Luckily there are some easy fixes to make your room cosier. Buying a couple of plants, stick-on wall hooks to hang picture frames from are some of them. But bedding is probably the most important.
Given that I’m a country girl at heart, I prefer a simple and rustic look. Prints and Primark covers are thus, a no-go. So for years, I really struggled to find the perfect sheets that would be comfortable, but also make my bedroom look amazing.
As a journalist, I get a few cool perks. One of them is being able to review things for free. I was kindly sent a set of sheets from Piglet in Bed a while back, and I can’t tell you how much I love them. Who knew you could actually fall in love with bed linen? God damn it.
Not only does it look amazing, but it just gets softer every time you wash it. They are stone-washed, natural, and low-maintenance (which is honestly a huge plus for me as I don’t want to spend hours ironing and hand washing).
Although I got these for free, I’m planning on making another order soon. White sheets or Blush ones next time?
